Christmas Countdown 2018 - Day 17

It's getting kind of late to start making more Christmas cards, so today I'm sharing a quick gift tag.  I got this idea from something I saw online -- it took me about 10 minutes to make (maybe less).

Materials

Stamp Set
* Winter Woods (also available in a bundle -- see below)

Paper
* Very Vanilla card stock (3-1/2" x 2")
* Mossy Meadow card stock (about 3-1/2" x 2")

Ink
* Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad

Accessories and Tools
* Big Shot Die Cutting Machine
* In the Woods Framelits Dies
* Scallop Tag Topper Punch
* Stampin' Sponge
* 5/8" Burlap Ribbon (about 5")
* Linen Thread (about 5")
* Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Instructions

1. Use punch to trim one end of 3-1/2" x 2" Very Vanilla card stock.

2. Stamp tree trunk images across tag; apply ink around edges of tag with Stampin' Sponge.

3. Thread Burlap Ribbon through hole at top of tag; secure with Linen Thread tied in a bow.

4. Use Big Shot and Die to cut tree from Mossy Meadow card stock.  "Fluff out" branches and attach tree to front of tag with Liquid Glue.  (IMPORTANT NOTE:  Do not apply glue to the branches -- you want them to stick out away from the tag.)

If you want to step this up just a tiny bit, mix up a little Frost White Shimmer Paint and some rubbing alcohol in a Stampin' Spritzer to add some subtle shimmer (see photo below).

Hope you enjoy this quick and easy project!
