Stampin' Up! Announcements re Retiring Items and New Color Lineup!

Stampin' Up! has released the Last Chance lists for items items that will be retiring when the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog goes live on May 2, 2023.  Note that some of these items are on sale at discounts up to 60% off catalog prices.  Once these items are gone, they're gone, so act now to order your favorites!!!  (Visit my Current Promotions Page at Cathy's Craft Room: Stampin' Up! Current Promotions (cathyscraftroom.blogspot.com) to see the lists for both the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog.)

Also, Stampin' Up! has introduced a color refresh for the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.  This means that we'll say goodbye to several of the colors we've become used to, but we're also going to be seeing some great new colors, as well as the return of some of the old favorites!

Be sure to watch for more information as it becomes available.  Or visit my Stampin' Up! page at Cathy Hansen, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator (stampinup.net) for all the latest updates!

Great Way to Destash Your 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper!

Do you (like me) have a bunch of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper hanging around?  Or even 12" x 12"?  I've got a great way for you to use up a bunch of it!

Click on photo for closer look.

Make a bunch of these cute little 6" x 4-1/2" journals!  Each of the larger books uses 2 sheets of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper ("DSP"); the smaller one uses 2 sheets of 6" x 4-1/2" DSP.

Inside each booklet are 3 pieces of 8-1/2" x 6" notebook paper (8-1/2" x 4-1/2" for smaller book), folded in half to make 6 pages.

Everything else is just embellishment.

These are great little books to stash in your purse or backpack for notes on the go.  They also make great gifts!  And what a stash buster!  You also could cut your 12" x 12" DSP into 4 pieces of 6" x 6" to make two booklets!

Watch my YouTube video to see just how easy it is to make these books -- and it takes only about 10 minutes to make each one!!!!

I hope you enjoy this fun and quick project!

Until next time . . . .

Blog Updates as of 3/1/2023

Howdy, folks!  Well, my schedule is still hectic . . . so what else is new?!  But I did manage to find some time this morning to update my Upcoming Events page to reflect my March schedule, as well as my Current Promotions page.

Hope you're enjoying the last days of winter . . . .  It's still been pretty cold here in Denver, but we did manage to get in a couple of beautiful days when it actually hit the 60s this past week!!!
