With snow and below freezing temperatures in Denver today, it seems more like winter than fall. Nonetheless, I'm showing you today how I made this beautiful fall card.
Many thanks to the person who posted this layout online (sorry I don't have a name or a link to a site). I've tweaked the card a bit from the original using a few items from my stash, but it's the same basic layout as the original.
Stampin' Up! Materials & Tools:
* Copper Clay card stock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" (card base); 5" x 3-3/4" for layer.
* All About Autumn 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper: 3" circle
* Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper: scraps for leaves
* Very Vanilla card stock: 5-1/4" x 4" for inside
* Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad
* 3" Circle Die (from retired Layering Circles Framelits Dies)
* Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder
* Small Maple Leaf Punch (retired)
* Clear Embossing Powder
* Heat Tool
* Foam Tape or Stampin' Dimensionals
Materials & Tools from my Stash:
* Stampin' Sponge
* Copper Satin Ribbon (about 6")
* Autumn Greetings Stamp
* Larger Maple Leaf Die
And here are the steps to making this easy card!
1. Fold 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock away from score line to create card base.
2. Sponge Early Espresso ink around edges of Very Vanilla card stock, 5" x 3-3/4" Copper Clay card stock, and 3" Circle cut from 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.
3. Stamp sentiment in upper left corner of 5" x 3-3/4" Copper Clay card stock. Sprinkle clear embossing powder over wet ink, and melt with heat tool to create shiny image.
4. Emboss 5" x 3-3/4" Copper Clay card stock with Leaf Fall embossing folder. Wrap ribbon across front and adhere ends on back of card stock. Center and adhere card stock to card front.
5. Use foam tape or Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere 3" Circle to card front over ribbon.
6. Cut leaves from Oxidized Copper and adhere with foam tape or Stampin' Dimensionals.
7. On inside, adhere Very Vanilla card stock and adhere a few small leave randomly.
