1. Cut and score DSP as shown in diagram.  Fold away from all score lines.

2. Use Tear ‘n Tape or other strong adhesive to attach outside of 1/2" flap to inside of opposite end of DSP, forming rectangular shape.

3. Stand rectangle on open end with Flaps A thru D facing up.  Fold down Flaps A and C; apply adhesive to outside of both flaps and then fold Flap D down to cover the adhesive.  It’s helpful at this point to flip the bag around so it’s standing upright and use the rounded end of a bone folder to rub across Flaps A and B, making sure they are securely attached to Flap D.

4. Flip bag back around to upside-down position and adhere Flap B over Flap D.  That’s it!  The basic gift bag is complete!

Decoration

5. Stamp Daffodil Delight Daisies on white card stock.  Stamp Real Red center in each flower.  Emboss card stock with Brick & Mortar embossing folder.  Adhere to Real Red card stock.

6. Punch ladybug body from black card stock; punch wings from Real Red card stock.  Adhere wings to body and attach to white card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Add self-adhesive Matte Black Dots to wings.

7. Adhere finished piece to front of bag with Stampin’ Dimensionals or Foam Tape.

The finishing touch is a red and white polka-dot napkin used in place of tissue paper.

Your bag is now ready to insert a small gift for a special friend!  (Finished measurements of gift bag are 4” wide x 4-1/2” tall x 1-1/2” deep.)

I hope you enjoy this quick YouTube video tutorial showing how quickly this bag comes together.

4. Adhere 3-3/4" x 2" card stock vertically about 3/8" from left edge of DSP.
5. Stamp large flowers on white card stock; cut out with Bloom Dies.  Use a Sponge Dauber to apply coordinating color ink to flower petals, swiping from center of flower to outer edge.  Adhere smallest flower to top of 3-3/4" x 2" card stock and medium size (with flat bottom) to bottom of card stock.  Use Stampin' Dimensionals or Foam Tape to adhere largest flower over the other two flowers.
6. Cut small flowers from coordinating color of Shimmer Vellum; adhere to centers of each larger flower with liquid glue or a mini glue dot.

8. Tie a knot in ribbon; adhere to edge of label with a glue dot behind the knot.

9. Use Black ink to stamp sentiment on second piece of 5-1/4" x 4" white card stock.  Stamp flowers with coordinating color ink.  Adhere to inside of card.

NOTE:  The Granny Apple Green DSP does not have the flowers on it -- those were stamped in black ink using the Friendly Hello coordinating stamp set.  All of the other designs shown already had the black images printed on the paper.

Th-th-th-that's all, folks!  Hope you enjoy this card design!

Bottom of My Heart Greeting Card (Sassy Stampers Stamp Camp)

This is the card we made at my table at Sassy Stampers Stamp Camp this past Saturday.  Fun and easy to make, it's quite elegant and very colorful.

Click on image for closer look.

Materials
* Rich Razzleberry card stock: 9-3/4” x 4-1/4”, scored at 5-1/2”
* White card stock: 5-1/4” x 4”
* Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper: 4” x 4” (front flap) and
4” x 1/2" (bottom of white card stock)
* Gold Foil card stock: about 4” x 4” for die cut
* Ornate Thanks stamp set (sentiment)
* Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin’ Pad
* Floral Heart Dies
* Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon (retired)**
* Adhesives

**This ribbon was featured in the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog and is no longer available; however, the Flirty Flamingo Gold Metallic Ribbon or the Gold Fine Art Ribbon would also work for this card.

Assembly:
  1. Fold Rich Razzleberry card stock at score line to create card.  (NOTE:  Shorter side is card front.)
  2. Adhere white card stock to inside of card.  Adhere 4” x 1/2” patterned paper along bottom edge of white card stock.  Close card, and stamp sentiment on white card stock (center between bottom of card front and the patterned paper at bottom of white card stock as shown in photo).
  3. Adhere 4” x 4” patterned paper to card front.
  4. Cut floral heart from gold foil card stock; adhere detailed outside portion of die cut over patterned paper; adhere solid heart in center of detailed heart using foam tape or hexagons.
  5. Tie bow and adhere to heart as shown with a glue dot behind knot.  (NOTE:  Bow is about 2-1/2" long, including tails; each loop is about 3/4".)
Inside

One of the features I like best about this card is the sentiment.  Stamping only "from the bottom of my heart" and leaving the rest of the inside piece blank allows the card to be used for so many different reasons, i.e., a thank you card, a get well card, a birthday card, or just a thinking of you card.

I hope you enjoy and try this easy, elegant card design.
