Thinking of You Spring-Themed Card (Stamp Camp North 2/12/2022)

This past Saturday I participated in Stamp Camp North at the Westminster Elks.  This is the card we made at my table.  Scroll down to the bottom of this page to view a short video tutorial showing how I made this card, along with a few other tips and tricks.

Click on image for closer look.

Stampers actually had 4 different colors to select from -- Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink, and Pool Party.  Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green were by far the most popular!

NOTE:  This Designer Series Paper is bundled with the Hello Friend stamp set as part of the January-February 2022 Sale-a-Bration promotion.  The paper/stamp set bundle is available for free with a minimum $100 catalog order from any current Stampin' Up! catalog.  (IMPORTANT:  Promotion ends February 28, 2022.)

Assembly

1. Fold 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock away from score line to create card base.
2. Adhere 5-1/4" x 4" white card stock to card front.
3. Adhere 5" x 3-3/4" DSP over white card stock.
4. Adhere 3-3/4" x 2" card stock vertically about 3/8" from left edge of DSP.
5. Stamp large flowers on white card stock; cut out with Bloom Dies.  Use a Sponge Dauber to apply coordinating color ink to flower petals, swiping from center of flower to outer edge.  Adhere smallest flower to top of 3-3/4" x 2" card stock and medium size (with flat bottom) to bottom of card stock.  Use Stampin' Dimensionals or Foam Tape to adhere largest flower over the other two flowers.
6. Cut small flowers from coordinating color of Shimmer Vellum; adhere to centers of each larger flower with liquid glue or a mini glue dot.
7. Use punch to trim edges of 3" x 1" colored card stock and 2-3/4" x 3/4" white card stock.  Stamp sentiment on white card stock and adhere to colored card stock.  Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals or Foam Tape.
8. Tie a knot in ribbon; adhere to edge of label with a glue dot behind the knot.

9. Use Black ink to stamp sentiment on second piece of 5-1/4" x 4" white card stock.  Stamp flowers with coordinating color ink.  Adhere to inside of card.

NOTE:  The Granny Apple Green DSP does not have the flowers on it -- those were stamped in black ink using the Friendly Hello coordinating stamp set.  All of the other designs shown already had the black images printed on the paper.

Th-th-th-that's all, folks!  Hope you enjoy this card design!
