More Holiday Card Buffet Cards (November 17)

Click on image for closer view
These are the next six designs for Saturday's Holiday Card Buffet (see details to the right and in the blog entry below).  I've listed all of the artists for these cards in the text above, but it's probably too small to read, so here's a list of the Stampin' Up! demonstrators who inspired these designs . . . .

Top (left to right):
* Angel card inspired by Monica Weaver
* Greetings of the Season snow people card is my design
* Merry Christmas snowbirds card designed by Janine Tinklenberg (a/k/a Jan Tink)

Bottom (left to right):
* Season's Greetings shaker card is based on two different designs -- one by Andrea Rich and the other by Tammy Downey
* Warm Winter Wishes ice skates card inspired by Connie Babbert
* Peace on Earth polar bear card was a swap design from my friend Julie Blanchet (Front Range Stampers)

As of this writing, these are the only cards being offered.  If time allows, there may be one or two more options by Saturday.

Fun stuff . . . this is really putting me in the holiday spirit!

Holiday Card Buffet - Saturday, November 17

Click on image for closer view
These are the first 6 designs for my holiday card buffet this coming Saturday.

Top row from left to right:  The "Believe" card is based on a design by Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Marilyn Zilinski; the next one -- the Christmas Tree -- is my own design; the Snowman is from a make and take my friend Cathe Valdez did at last month's Front Range Stampers meeting.

Bottom row from left to right:  The bird card is based on a design my friend Herma Hughes brought to a showbox swap this past summer; the cap and mittens card is on Dawn Olchefsky's blog (click here for details); and the poinsettia card is loosely based on a swap card I received at a recent Stampin' Up! conference (will provide the artist's name when I get a chance to look at the back of her swap card).

Details about the card buffet:
Doors open at 9 a.m.
Make as many or as few cards as you like (no duplicates, please).
Cost is $2.50 per card.

Should be a fun day!!!

November Class Projects

Here are our cards for the November classes. Click on any image for a larger view.

The first card is our technique of the month -- don't actually know what it's called, but I'm calling it watercolor background.

The second card uses the French Foliage stamp set (one of my all-time favorites) and is based on a design by a Stampin' Up! demonstrator named "Donna" -- she didnpt include her last name with the photo.

The third card is based on a swap my friend and downline Joyce Munro made for our Front Range Stampers meeting last month.  She said she found this design online, but I really liked the touches she added to it.

All cards are falls themes and colors, and could probably be used as a greeting card for either a man or woman.  Details will be posted following my last class for the month.
