Day 9 - 2019 Christmas Countdown

Materials

Stamp Set
* Peaceful Poinsettia (retired)

Paper
* Real Red card stock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2"; about 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" for scalloped oval; about 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" for hat)
* Whisper White card stock (5-1/4" x 4"; 3-1/4" x 2-1/4" for oval; about 2" x 1-1/2" for beard)
* Gray Granite card stock (5" x 3-3/4")
* Flirty Flamingo card stock (scrap for nose)
* Basic Black card stock (scraps for feet)

Ink
* Black Ink Pad

Other
* Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder
* Layering Ovals Dies
* Lakeside Dies (label)
* Pine Tree Punch (2019 Holiday Catalog)
* Blossom Petals Builder Punch (retired)
* Blossom Builder Punch (retired)
* 1/4" Circle Punch
* Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
* Adhesives: SNAIL Adhesive; Stampin' Dimensionals; Tombow Liquid Glue

Instructions
(SNAIL Adhesive used to assemble card unless otherwise indicated.)

1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from score line to create card base.

2. Adhere 5-1/4" x 4" Whisper White card stock to card front.

3. Use Embossing Folder to add texture to Gray Granite card stock.  Paint random bricks with Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  Adhere to card over Whisper White card stock.

4. Cut scalloped oval from red card stock; cut oval from white card stock.  Adhere white oval to scalloped over and adhere to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

5. Punch Christmas tree from red card stock; punch largest petal on Blossom Petal Builder Punch from white card stock; punch 1/4" circle from flirty flamingo card stock; punch two petals wtih Blossom Builder Punch from black card stock.

6. Use liquid glue to assemble gnome as shown below.  Paint nose with Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.


Adhere gnome to oval with Stampin' Dimensionals.

7. Stamp sentiment on white card stock; cut out label with die and adhere to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoy this card . . . it was so much fun to make that I made another version using some retired Stampin' Up! designer paper and ribbon.
