Day 6 - 2019 Countdown to Christmas

Today's card was inspired by a card my friend Chris Pereira created for a Stampin' Up! demonstrator card swap earlier this year (see Chris's card below).

Click on photo for closer look.
Materials

Paper
* Bermuda Bay card stock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2); about 3-1/8" x 2-1/4" for oval)
* Silver Foil (5-3/16" x 3-15/16"; about 4" x 2-5/8" for rectangle die; about 2-3/4" x 1-3/4" for tree and star punches)
* Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper ("DSP") (5" x 3-3/4") (retired)
* Whisper White card stock (about 3-1/4" x 1-1/4" for "merry" die)

Other
* Stitched Rectangles Dies
* Layering Ovals Dies
* Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies (retired)
* Pine Tree Punch
* Star Punch
* Wink of Stella
* Adhesives:  SNAIL Adhesive; Stampin' Dimensionals

Instructions
(SNAIL Adhesive used to assemble card unless otherwise indicate.)

1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from score line to create card base.

2. Adhere 5-3/16" x 3-15/16" Silver Foil to card front; adhere DSP over Silver Foil.

3. Use 4" x 2-5/8" die to cut rectangle from Silver Foil; use 3-1/8" x 2-1/8" die to cut oval from card stock.  Adhere oval to rectangle; adhere rectangle to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

4. Punch star and tree from Silver Foil; use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere to oval.

5. Cut "merry" from Whisper White card stock; paint with Wink of Stella glitter brush.  Adhere over tree with thin slivers of  Stampin' Dimensionals under the long tail of the "y" and under the two legs of the "m".  (No need to glue the middle part -- it will be supported by the tree.)

That's it!  Merry merry to you!
