3" x 3" Note Cards in a Box

Do you like to give small gifts?  Are you fascinated by miniature items?  Here’s a project for you to make that is small and thoughtful! 

Stamps:

* Cactus Cuties Bundle (158058)

Inks:

* Evening Evergreen (155576)

* Bumblebee (153116)

* Cajun Craze (147085

Paper:

* Basic White (159276)  5 pieces cut 2-1/2” X 2-1/2”, 4 pieces cut 2-3/4” X 2-3/4” and a small scrap to stamp and punch the pots for the cactus stamps.

* So Saffron (105118)  5 pieces cut 2-3/4” X 2-3/4”

* Evening Evergreen (155574)  1 piece cut 3” X 3” and 4 pieces cut 3” X 6” and scored in half at 3”.

* Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP) (155841) Cut a strip of the Mossy Meadow and  Bumblebee tree paper to 2” X 8-12”

Accessories:

* Pebbles Enamel Shapes (158141)

* 3-1/8” X 3-1/8” Acetate Card Boxes (150428)

* Baker’s Twine Essentials pack (155475)  cut a piece of the Crumb Cake twine 6” long and tie in a small bow.

* Stampin’ Dimensionals

* Your choice of Glue: Liquid Glue, or Stampin’ Seal

Instructions:

1. Cut, fold and score the 4 pieces of 3” X 3” Evening Evergreen
2. Glue a piece 2-3/4” X 2-3/4” So Saffron cardstock to the front of each folded card and to the single 3” X 3” Evening Evergreen piece.
3. On your scrap piece of Basic White, stamp the pot with the horizontal lines 5 times using Cajun Craze ink.
4. Punch out the pots using the Cactus Punch.
5. On four of the Basic White 2-1/2” X 2-1/2” pieces stamp the large 3 leaf design stamp using Evening Evergreen.  Use one of the stamped and punched pots to position where you want to stamp the cactus.
6. In the upper right corner stamp the word “HELLO” using Bumblebee ink.
7. On the 5th piece of 2-1/2” X 2-1/2” Basic white stamp “JUST A NOTE” at the top of the white piece.
8. Adhere the stamped and punched pots underneath the stamped cactus on all 5 pieces using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
9. Adhere the 4 “HELLO: stamped pieces to the 4 folded card fronts on top of the So Saffron cardstock.
10. Adhere the “JUST A NOTE” piece to the So Saffron piece on top of the single layer of 3” X 3” Evening Evergreen cardstock.
11. On the remaining 4 Basic White 2-3/4” X 2-3/4” pieces stamp “hope your day IS ON POINT at the top using Cajun Craze ink
12. Stamp the flower stamp at the bottom using Bumblebee ink and the 5-leaf stamp using Evening Evergreen.  (See photo for placement)
13. Adhere the stamped pieces to the inside of the card. 
14. Adhere the Pebbles enamel shapes, one of each color, as shown in the photos. 
15. Cut your strip of DSP as instructed.
16. Assemble the card box.
17. Wrap the strip of DSP around the card box creasing at the corners and adhere it together in the back.  HINT:  don’t make it too tight in case you want to slip it off.
18. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere the single stamped “JUST A NOTE” piece to the center of the front of the DSP strip on the box.
19. Put the 4 folded cards inside the box.
