Graduation Money Card (May Class Project)
Graduation is just around the corner, so what better for our final May project than a card for your favorite graduate. This card can be made in any combination of colors -- feminine pink to not-so-feminine gray -- or match your graduate's school colors! A clever money pocket is concealed behind the sentiment on the card front.
And -- bonus bonus bonus!!!! This card uses no retiring items -- everything used is current and available now and in the new catalog.

Changes for Gray Card:
*** Basic Gray card stock (5” x 3-3/4”; about 5-1/2” x 4-1/4” for envelope die)
*** Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad (126981, $5.95; refill 109121, $2.95)
*** Square Lattice Embossing Folder (119976, $7.95)
Instructions:
1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from scoreline to create card. Adhere 4-1/4" x 4" Whisper White card stock to front of card.
2. Emboss 5" x 3-3/4" card stock (Square Lattice for Basic Gray; Framed Tulips for Pink Pirouette); adhere to front of card with Sticky Strip (this holds really well for embossed surfaces).
3. Cut Top Note from Designer Series Paper; adhere to front of card over embossed card stock.
4. Cut Scallop Envelope from Pink Pirouette or Basic Gray card stock; cut off scalloped flap. Adhere bottom flap to side flaps. Adhere envelope to front of card with Sticky Strip (open side toward the top of the card and flat side facing foward).
5. Cut 3" Circle from Basic Black card stock.
6. Stamp Sentiment on Shimmery White card stock with StazOn ink. Cut out design with appropriate sized Label in Framelits Collection (I think it's the 3rd from the smallest shape). Use Stampin' Sponge to apply either Pink Pirouette or Basic Gray around outer edges. Center over and adhere to 3" Basic Black circle.
a. For Basic Gray card, attach Brad at bottom of sentiment, and then center and adhere to envelope on front of card.
b. For Pink Pirouette card, center and adhere to envelope on front of card; make small bow and attach to front with Mini Glue Dot.
The pocket is hidden behind the sentiment, and you can add a gift note or folded dollar bill. NOTE: This pocket is not large enough for a credit card type gift card; however, you could probably accommodate a gift card by using the Petite Pocket Bigz XL die (123131, $42.95) instead of the Scallop Envelope die; cut it down to the appropriate size, and turn the card the other direction.
Have fun creating your own secret pocket cards!
