Instructions
(NOTE: SNAIL Adhesive used to assemble card unless otherwise indicated.)
1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from score line to create card base.
2. Adhere 5-1/2" x 4" Whisper White card stock to card front.
3. Adhere DSP near top of Whisper White card stock (equal distance from top and sides).
4. Use Big Shot and embossing folder to add texture to 3-7/8" x 3-1/8" card stock; adhere near bottom of Whisper White card stock (equal distance from bottom and sides).
5. Adhere 3-7/8" x 1/4" Lemon-Lime Twist card stock over seam where DSP and card stock meet.
6. Punch one 2-1/4" Circle from Lemon-Lime Twist card stock; punch one Starburst from card stock (Night of Navy for Card 1; Berry Burst for Card 2). Adhere Starburst to 2-1/4" Circle.
7. Use Basic Black ink to stamp panda image on scrap of Whisper White card stock; use 2" Circle punch to cut out image. Adhere over Starburst. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to add layered circles to card as shown.
8. Punch banner from Lemon-Lime Twist card stock. Stamp Happy Birthday on scrap of Whisper White card stock. Punch out sentiment with Classic Label Punch, and adhere to banner; adhere banner to card as shown.
9. Punch large balloon from Glossy White card stock. Use Stampin' Sponge to apply color to balloon (Lemon-Lime Twist for Card 1; Berry Burst for Card 2). Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere balloon to card as shown. (NOTE: I cut my Stampin' Sponges into fourths and use the wedges to apply ink.)
10. Use Stampin' Write marker to connect line from panda image to balloon.
11. Make a small bow from Baker's Twine and adhere to balloon with rolled up glue dot. Apply Adhesive-Backed Sequins randomly to card.
This is a great kid's birthday card . . . but adults may like it too -- so bright and cheery!!! I hope you enjoy this project.
