Instructions
1. Cut bag according to Punch Board instructions. I wanted a tall narrow bag, so I used the Small bag marking and cut my paper to 10" in length.
2. Before assembling bag, punch a circle on the front for your contents to show through. Use Tear 'n Tape to adhere Window Sheet to inside of bag covering circle.
3. Use Big Shot and Copper Foil to cut swirly wreath. Adhere around circle with Liquid Glue.
4. Use Holly Berry Punch to cut two holly leaves from Old Olive card stock, three holly berries from Red Glimmer Paper, and one bow from Red Glimmer Paper. Adhere leaves to wreath as shown with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Add berries with dots of Liquid Glue and/or small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.
5. Use Tear 'n Tape to assemble bag according to Punch Board instructions.
6. Fill bag with peppermints and fold top to back of bag about 1" from top.
7. Punch holes through all thickeness about 1/2" from each side (I actually cheated here and used my retired Crop-a-Dile). Thread Copper Trim through holes and tie in a knot in the front to hold bag closed (leave long tails to tie a bow).
8. Stamp "FOR YOU" on scrap of Whisper White card stock with Real Red ink; use Big Shot and Trim Your Stockings Thinlits Dies to cut tag. Thread one end of 1/4" Copper Trim through hole in tag and tie in a bow. If you like, you can pull out the edges of the Copper Trim to make a fun and funky bow like the one shown.
The Gift Bag Punch Board is so flexible -- you can make small bags like the one pictured, or medium or large bags. You also can adjust the height of the bag to fit your needs. They make up so fast, you could assemble a bunch of bags to stash away, and then pull them out and embellish them as you use them.
