Instructions
(Use SNAIL Adhesive unless otherwise indicated)
1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Whisper White Thick card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from score line to create card base.
2. Adhere 5-1/4" x 4" Melon Mambo card stock to front of card; adhere DSP over card stock.
3. Use Melon Mambo ink for "Happy" and Tempting Turquoise ink for "Birthday" and stamp about 3/8" to 1/2" from bottom of 4-1/4" x 3" Whisper White card stock; adhere to 4-3/8" x 3-1/8" Melon Mambo card stock. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere Melon Mambo card stock over DSP.
- (TIP: I added refill ink to Uninked Stampin' Spots to ink up this stamp -- makes it easier to hit the target when you're using two different colors. You also could use the brush end of Stampin' Write Markers.)
- (NOTE: Line up candles die inside of the Stitched Square Framelits die so you need to run it through Big Shot only once.)
DON'T FORGET THE INSIDE!!!

6. For the inside, I mounted the sentiment on one block and stamped it with Tempting Turquoise ink on a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock. Then I lined up the flower garlands on a separate block and stamped them with Melon Mambo ink. Since this is a photopolymer stamp set, it's easy to see where to position the stamps so they line up perfectly.
- NOTE: Although not essential, I stamped the inside for this card on a separate piece of card stock rather than stamping directly on the card base. I did this for two reasons: 1) If your ink pad is particularly juicy, the ink could bleed through to the back of the card; and 2) this second piece of card stock gives a nice weight to the card, which to me translates into better quality.
