Autumn-ish All Occasion Card

Not necessarily an autumn card, but it certainly fits in with the upcoming season.  This is one of the cards we made at my tables in Berthoud the beginning of September.

Materials

(Unless otherwise indicated, most of the materials are retired Stampin' Up! products)

* Americana card stock from PapertreyInk.com: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" (card base); about 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" (3 pieces); 2-1/2" x 1-1/4" (mat for label)

* White card stock: 5-1/4" x 4" (2 pieces - one for front and one for inside)

* Naturally Gilded 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper: 1-3/8" x 1-3/8 (3 pieces); 4" x 1/2" (inside)

* Copper Foil Sheets: about 4-1/2" x 2" for die cut foliage

* Timeless Label Punch (mat)

* Key Tab Label Punch (sentiment)

* 1-1/2" Square Punch (I thought I had one but had to cut these squares with my paper trimmer . . . sigh)

* Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder

* Birds & More Dies (foliage)

* Black or Early Espresso ink pad

Assembly

* Use Embossing Folder to add texture to one 5-1/4" x 4" piece of white card stock; adhere to card front.

* Cut or punch three 1-1/2" squares from Americana card stock; cut or punch three 1-3/8” squares from patterned paper.  Adhere 1-3/8" squares to 1-1/2” card stock squares.  Line up to form a continuous design and adhere in a vertical row as shown.

* Use die to cut foliage from Copper Foil; adhere to card front overlapping right edge of squares.

* Use Timeless Label Punch to cut mat from Americana card stock.  Stamp sentiment on white card stock and cut with Key Tab punch; adhere to Timeless Label shape.  Adhere to card front with foam tape.

* Adhere 4” strip of patterned paper horizontally near bottom of second piece of white card stock; adhere to inside of card.

This is a very simple, yet elegant card, appropriate to use for any occasion.
