Instructions
(Unless otherwise noted, SNAIL Adhesive used throughout)
1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Daffodil Delight card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from score line to create card.
2. Adhere Dapper Denim card stock to front of card.
3. Adhere Whisper White 5" x 3-3/4" card stock over Dapper Denim.
4. Use Big Shot and dies to cut pocket piece from DSP, shades from Real Red card stock, and sun from Daffodil Delight card stock. Stamp stitch images on pocket and shades image on red shades shape.
5. Fold flaps on pocket to back on score lines; apply Tear and Tape to outside of flaps on sides and bottom of pocket, BUT DO NOT REMOVE THE BACKING TAPE YET. Place on Whisper White card stock to position and glue the sun onto the Whisper White card stock so it's peeking over the top edge of the pocket. Stamp sun ray images around top of sun shape. (Note this is a small die that has only 5 rays of sun -- you will need to stamp it several times to complete rays around entire top edge of sun.)
6. Remove backing from Tear and Tape and adhere pocket to front of card just covering the bottom edge of sun shape. Use a small amount of Tombow Liquid to adhere shades to inside of pocket. (NOTE: Do not adhere shades to card -- just to the inside of pocket. This way you can easily slip a gift card or folded dollar bill behind them.)
7. Stamp sentiment in center of 4-1/4" x 1" Whisper White card stock. Use Triple Banner Punch to trim ends. Adhere to pocket as shown.
Easy, peasy, right?! Fun card to use as a gift card holder for a special summer treat.
