Daisy Delight Card (Stamp Camp North 7/15/2017)

Good morning, stampers!  Today I'm sharing with you the card we made at my table at Stamp Camp North yesterday.  What fun we had transforming daisies into coneflowers.

Materials

Stamps
* Daisy Delight

Paper
* Calypso Coral card stock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2"
* Early Espresso card stock (5" x 3-3/4"; scraps for centers of flowers and oval)
* Whisper White card stock (4-13/16" x 3-9/16"; scrap for oval)
* Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper ("DSP") (about 5" x 2-1/2" for daisies)

Ink
* Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad
* Sahara Sand Classic Stampin' Pad
* Tranquil Tide Classic Stampin' Pad
* Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad

Accessories and Tools
* Big Shot Die Cutting Machine
* Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
* Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
* Layering Ovals Framelits Dies
* Daisy Punch
* 1/2" Circle Punch
* Adhesives:  SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals; Tombow Liquid Glue or Glue Dots

Instructions
SNAIL Adhesive used to assemble card unless otherwise indicated.

1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from score line to create card.

2. Adhere 5" x 3-3/4" Early Espresso card stock to front of card.

3. Lightly rib Sahara Sand Classic Stampin' Pad across "bumpy" side of Brick Wall embossing folder.  Insert 4-13/16" x 3-9/16" Whisper White card stock into folder and run through Big Shot.

4. Use Tranquil Tide to stamp stems on Whisper White card stock.  Adhere to front of card over Early Espresso card stock.

5. Make two coneflowers (I used Tombow Liquid Glue to assemble these, but you also could use Glue Dots):

• For each flower, use Memento Ink to stamp daisy image on DSP.  Punch out with Daisy punch.  Cut each daisy in half between petals.  Glue one half of the daisy on top of the other half, turning slightly so the bottom petals show between the top petals.
• Place scrap of Early Espresso card stock in  Softly Falling embossing folder and run through Big Shot.  Punch 1/2" circle from textured card stock.  Glue to center of flower.

Use Tombow Liquid Glue or Glue Dots to attach flowers to card as shown.

6. Use Layering Ovals Framelits to cut one 2" oval from Whisper White card stock and one 2-1/4" oval from Early Espresso card stock.  Use Early Espresso ink to stamp sentiment on smaller oval; adhere to larger oval and attach to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Don't forget the inside!

Use Early Espresso ink to stamp "Thank You"; use Calypso Coral ink to stamp a row of small daisies across the bottom.
