No Special Reason Card (1/28/2017 Rose Hill Stamp Camp)

Good morning!  I'm working backwards to share with you the card I made at the Rose Hill Stamp Camp on January 28.  Be sure to check out the photos below to see all of the beautiful cards made that day.

  Special Reason (2017 Occasions Mini Catalog)

  Timeless Textures

Paper

  Basic Gray Card Stock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2")

  Smoky Slate Card Stock (5-1/4" x 4")

  Whisper White Card Stock (5" x 3-3/4"; scraps for flowers and leaves)

Ink

  Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad

  Smoky Slate Classic Stampin’ Pad

  Sweet Sugarplum Stampin’ Pad 

Accessories and Tools

  Big Shot Die Cutting Machine

  Stylish Stems Framelits Dies (2017 Occasions Mini Catalog)

  Blushing Bride Sequin Trim

  Adhesives:

    SNAIL Adhesive

    Fine Tip Glue Pen

    Stampin’ Dimensions

 

Instructions

(Unless otherwise specified, SNAIL Adhesive used throughout)

 

1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from score line to create card base.

 

2. Adhere Smoky Slate card stock to front of card.

 

3. Use Big Shot and Framelits Die to cut large flower image from Whisper White card stock.

 

4. Use Smoky Slate ink to stamp rough image (Timeless Textures) around edges of Whisper White card stock.  Use Basic Gray ink to stamp the sentiment (Special Reason) and the random splatters (Timeless Textures).  Adhere to front of card over Smoky Slate card stock.

 

5. Use Sweet Sugarplum ink to stamp flower, and Basic Gray to stamp leaves on scraps of Whisper White card stock.  Use Big Shot and coordinating Framelits Dies to cut out flower and leaves.  Use SNAIL to adhere leaves to front of card; use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere flower over leaves as shown.

 

6. Use Fine Tip Glue Pen to attach sequins randomly on front of card.

 

Don't forget the inside!!!

7.  Repeat Step 4 above on a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock; adhere to inside of card.
