Instructions:
(Note: Unless otherwise indicated, SNAIL Adhesive was used to assemble this card.)
1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Baked Brown Sugar card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from scoreline to create card.
2. Use Baked Brown Sugar ink to stamp Hardwood image on front of card and on 3-5/8" x 1-1/2" DSP. Use Stampin' Sponge to apply Baked Brown Sugar ink around edges of card.
3. Use Stampin' Sponge to apply Baked Brown Sugar ink around edges of 5" x 3-3/4" Mossy Meadow card stock; adhere to front of card.
4. Use Stampin' Sponge to apply Baked Brown Sugar ink around edges of DSP; adhere near bottom of 4-7/8" x 3-5/8" Baked Brown Sugar card stock. Wrap ribbon around card stock and tie in a knot in the front (to secure in place, I usually add a Glue Dot behind the knot). Adhere card stock to front of card over Mossy Meadow card stock.
5. Punch 3 pennants from Mossy Meadow card stock. Use Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to emboss two of the trees; use Decorative Dots embossing folder for third tree. Cut two of the trees to varying heights, and use Stampin' Sponge to apply Baked Brown Sugar ink around edges of all three trees.
6. Use Stampin' Sponge to apply Baked Brown Sugar ink along two long edges of Soft Suede card stock strip. Cut card stock strip into three lengths. Layout, BUT DO NOT ADHERE three trees within right 2-3/4" of Baked Brown Sugar card stock. Use trees to determine position of tree trunks, and adhere Soft Suede card stock to front of card with bottom edge meeting DSP. Adhere trees over the tree trunks.
7. Use Scallop Edge Border punch to trim one long edge of 2-3/4" x 5/8" Mossy Meadow card stock; use Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to texture card stock; use Stampin' Sponge to apply Baked Brown Sugar ink around edges of card stock; adhere to front of card at top edge of DSP, covering bottom portion of tree trunks.
8. Punch 1" circle from Very Vanilla card stock. Use Big Shot and Delicate Designs Embossing Folder to add texture; use Stampin' Sponge to apply Baked Brown Sugar ink around outer edge of circle. Adhere to front of card.
9. Use Mossy Meadow ink to stamp Happy Christmas on 2-3/4" x 1/2" Baked Brown Sugar card stock. Cut inverted "V" shape into each end of card stock to create banner. Use Stampin' Sponge to apply Baked Brown Sugar ink to edges. Adhere to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
10. Final step: Add tiny little pearls in the round intends on the moon and on each end of the Happy Christmas banner. Add medium pearls at the top of each tree.
A lot of little pieces involved in making this card, but kind of a cool, masculine-ish holiday card, right? Hope you enjoy this one!
