I've made so many Christmas cards for my many classes over the past several weeks that I needed to get away from it and make a New Year's card for Stamp Camp North this month. Now that my classes have ended for the year, I'm hoping to find some time to get online and share some of the cards that we've been making in my classes.

This fold is called an "offset gatefold" and is quite easy to make.

* Bottom layer on inside of card -- So Saffron card stock: 5-1/4" x 4"
* Top layer -- White card stock: 5" x 3-3/4"
Other Stuff:
* Brightest Glow stamp set (happy new year)
* Joyful Flurry stamp set (inside sentiment and snowflakes)
* Black ink pad
* Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush
* Clear embossing powder
* Heat Tool
* Stampin' Dimensionals
Assembly:
This card was way too easy to put together! The card stock was folded away from both of the score lines to create the card base. For the front, the layers of paper were adhered to the corresponding panels. The circle for the center piece was painted around the outside edges with Wink of Stella before adhering the sentiment, which was stamped on Pearlescent paper and then heat embossed before punching out.
There are two bows in the Mistletoe die set -- one matches the stamp in the Mistletoe Magic stamp set; the other one was used for this card. This was cut from gold foil and glued to the circle under the sentiment.
Once assembled, the black circle was attached to the left panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The inside is even easier than the front! It's just as you see in the photo -- the sentiment and snowflakes were stamped on white card stock, which was adhered to the So Saffron card stock and then adhered to the center panel on the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoy this card . . . and are looking forward to a wonderful new year!!!
** NOTE: The 1-3/4" Circle Punch is no longer carried by Stampin' Up!, but if you don't have it in your stash, the circle also could be cut with the Layering Circles dies.
Happy Stamping!!!
Cathy :D
