Instructions
Note: SNAIL Adhesive used to assemble card unless otherwise indicated.
1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Early Espresso card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from score line to create card base.
2. Adhere 5-1/4" x 4" Garden Green card stock to front of card.
3. Use Soft Suede ink to stamp Buffalo Check image on 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" card stock. (NOTE: For background stamps, I lay the stamp face up on the table and ink it up. Then I lay my card stock on top of the stamp, put a piece of scrap paper larger than the stamp over the card stock (to protect my hands from getting too inky) and rub. This gives a great image every time and it's much easier than trying to pick up that huge block to stamp.)
4. Use Garden Green marker and straight edge to draw horizontal and vertical lines about halfway between all of the darker blocks of the check design. Adhere to front of card over Garden Green card stock.
5. Adhere 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" Garden Green card stock to front of card as shown. Adhere 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" Early Espresso card stock over Garden Green.
6. Position (but to not adhere) length of Linen Thread horizontally where you want to tie your bow, and then use Tear 'n Tape to adhere Flax Ribbon vertically to front of card as shown. Tie Linen Thread into a bow and trim tails, if necessary.
7. Stamp sloth image on Whisper White card stock; use watercolor pencils to color image; cut out image with Circle die.
8. Cut Scalloped Circle shape from Garden Green card stock, and adhere Whisper White circle. Use Stampin' Dimensionals or Foam Tape to attach to front of card as shown.
9. Stamp "Sigh" image on Whisper White card stock; cut out with Stitched Nested Labels die.
10. Cut Stitched Nested Labels shape from Garden Green card stock. Adhere sentiment over Garden Green shape and attach to card with Stampin' Dimensionals or Foam Tape. (NOTE: The Garden Green shape is longer than shown in this card. To make a better fit for the sentiment, I cut the shape vertically in the center and slightly overlapped one side over the other.)
That's it! What a fun way to cheer up a friend who's had a little accident or just isn't feeling well.
Hope you enjoy this card!
