Demo Shoebox Swap (April 18, 2015)

What fun we had today in our Stampin' Up! demonstrator shoebox swap!  There were 9 of us making each others' cards and sharing stampin' tips and techniques!  Afterwards, most of us went to lunch at one of my favorite local restaurants.  A great day with friends!

April Class Projects

These are the cards we will be making in my April 11 classes.  If you haven't already RSVPed, please let me know ASAP if you plan to join the 9 a.m. or the 1 p.m. class.  Cost is $10 (waived with a minimum $25 catalog order).  Fun stuff!

This card uses the Chalk Board Paper and the Chalk Inks featured in the Stampin' Up! 2015 Occasions Mini Catalog, as well as the White Chalk Marker in the big catalog.

Totally copped this idea from my friend Barbara Anderson.  Pretty much the only difference is that she used a cute little button from last year's Sale-a-Bration brochure instead of the flower in the lower right-hand corner.  I made this flower from Simply Pressed Clay -- used several drops of refill ink to make it the color I wanted to match the card.

Gift Card holders -- my friend Joyce told me she had no use for a graduation card, but she wanted to come and play anyway . . . so I decided to make the same card in a different color so it could be used for any gift-giving occasion.  This pocket will hold a gift card as shown, or cash or check.
