Autumn Daisy Card (Sassy Chic Stamp Camp)

This is the card we made at my table this past Saturday at Sassy Chic Stamp Camp.  The only new thing I used on this card was the leaf punch featured in the 2017 Holiday Catalog.  Everything else is available in the Annual Catalog.  (Inspired by a card made by Corinne Padilla Bethel.)

Instructions

1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from scoreline to create card base.

2. Rip edges of DSP leaving a rough, white edge all the way around.  Use Stampin' Sponge (I cut mine in quarters) to apply Crumb Cake ink all around edges to cut the stark white and make it look more weathered.  Use SNAIL Adhesive to adhere to front of card.

3. Use Big Shot and Sunshine Wishes die to cut loopy flower from Daffodil Delight card stock. Discard stem.  Use Fine Tip or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere near top left corner of card over DSP.

4. Apply glue dot to DSP at base of loopy flower.  Wrap gold thread around your fingers (I wrapped it around three fingers) three times, overlapping the ends, to create a loop.  Holding the overlapped threads together, press them into the glue dot, leaving the loops hanging freely below the flower.

5. Use Sahara Sand ink to stamp two daisies on Whisper White card stock.  Cut out daisies with Daisy punch.  Use Glue Dot or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere one daisy on top of the other, rotating slightly so the petals of the bottom daisy show through the petals of the top daisy.  Punch 1/2" circle from Gold Glimmer Paper and adhere to center of daisy with Glue Dot or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere daisy over loopy flower and metallic thread.

6. Use Leaf Punch to cut two sets of leaves from Old Olive card stock.  Apply Fine Tip or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to back of stems and adhere to card, sliding under daisy petals.

7. Use Sahara Sand ink to stamp banner on Whisper White card stock; cut out image with Banner Die.  Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

8. Use Big Shot and Sunshine Wishes die to cut just "shine" from the "sunshine" die.  (You will need to trim the "s" slightly to round it off from the "n" next to it.)  Use a tiny dot of Fine Tip or Multipurpose Liquid Glue in the centers of each letter to adhere over banner.  Don't forget to leave enough room to dot the "i" . . . .

9. Apply a few drops of Fine Tip Glue randomly on front of card and adhere gold sequins.

That's it. Hope you enjoy this card!
