Happy Fathers Day!!!

Fathers Day is almost here, so I'm in the process of stocking up my stash for sale at my office.  (I may previously have mentioned that the convenience store in my building was recently closed, so I've opened up a little mini-card shop at my desk.)

This is the first of several Fathers Day designs I'll be making this week.  Hope you enjoy it.  This card was inspired by a posting on www.SplitCoastStampers.com by Sara Hoogendoorn (http://simplysarastampin.blogspot.com/2013/04/mojo-mondays-open-sea.html).

Materials:

Stamp Sets:
* The Open Sea
* Delightful Dozen

Paper:
* Early Espresso card stock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2"; 4-3/8" x 2-5/8")
* Whisper White card stock (5-5/16" x 4-1/16"; 1-1/4" square x 3; 4-1/8" x 7/8")
* Bermuda Bay card stock (5-1/8" x 3-7/8"; 1-3/8" square x 3; 4-1/4" x 1")

Ink:
* Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad
* Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Marker

Accessories and Tools:
* Big Shot Die Cutting Machins
* Square Lattice Embossing Folder
* Stampin' Sponge
* SNAIL Adhesive
* Stampin' Dimensionals

Instructions:

1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from scoreline to create card.

2. Use Early Espresso to stamp world globe, anchor, and ship images on 1-1/4" squares, and to stamp sentiment on 4-1/8" x 1" card stock; fill in the open letters with Stampin' Write Marker.

3. Use Big Shot and embossing folder to texture 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" Bermuda Bay card stock.

4. Use Stampin' Sponge to apply Early Espresso ink to edges of all Whisper White and Bermuda Bay card stock.

5. Use SNAIL Adhesive to adhere Whisper White 5-5/16" x 4-1/6" to card front; adhere textured Bermuda Bay card stock over Whisper White.

6. Use SNAIL Adhesive to adhere 4-1/8" x 7/8" Whisper White card stock to 4-1/4" x 1" Bermuda Bay card stock; adhere near bottom of 4-3/8" x 2-5/8" Early Espresso card stock.  Adhere 1-1/4" Whisper White squares to Bermuda Bay 1-3/8" squares; adhere evenly across Early Espresso card stock above sentiment.

7.  Adhere Early Espresso card stock to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

8.  Optional:  I sponged Early Espresso around edges of a 5-1/5" x 4" piece of cardstock and adhereed to the inside of the card.  I then made a fourth square similar to the three on the front of the card using the compass image and placed it near the lower right hand corner on the inside of the card.

Enjoy!
