Sympathy Card (Rose Hill Stamp Camp 3/23/2019)

Today's card is a spring-themed sympathy card.  It also could be used for pretty much any other occasions -- birthday, Mother's Day, thank you, birthday, etc.  We made this card at my table at Rose Hill Stamp Camp last Saturday, March 23.

Materials

Stamp Set

* Petal Palette

Paper

* Whisper White Thick card stock (8-1/2” x 5-1/2”)

* Lemon Lime Twist (5” x 3-3/4”)

* Petal Pink card stock (4-7/8” x 3-5/8”; 3” x 5/8”)

* Whisper White card stock (4-5/8” x 3-3/8”; 2-1/4” x 1/2”; scrap for bird)

Ink

* Basic Gray Stampin’ Pad

* Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Pad

* Petal Pink Stampin’ Pad

* Petal Pink refill ink

Accessories and Tools

* Big Shot Die Cutting Machine

* Petals and More Thinlits Dies

* Lakeside Framelits Dies

* Aqua Painter filled with water

* Metallic Pearls (Silver)

* Adhesives: SNAIL Adhesive; Stampin’ Dimensionals

Instructions

(Unless otherwise indicated, SNAIL Adhesive used to assemble card.)

1.  Score 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Whisper White Thick card stock at 4-1/4” fold away from score line to create card base.

2.  Adhere Lemon Lime Twist card stock to front of card.

3.  Adhere Petal Pink 4-7/8” x 3-5/8” card stock to front of card over Lemon-Lime Twist card stock.

4.  Use Lemon Lime Twist ink to stamp leaves on 4-5/8” x 3-3/8” Whisper White card stock as shown; use Petal Pink to stamp flowers over leaves as shown.  Adhere card stock to front of card over Petal Pink card stock.

5.  Use Big Shot and Petals and More Thinlits Dies to cut label from Petal Pink card stock.  Use Basic Gray ink to stamp sentiment on 2-1/4” x 1/2” Whisper White card stock; cut out sentiment with Big Shot and small label from Lakeside Framelits Dies.  Adhere sentiment to Petal Pink Label; adhere to front of card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

6.  Use Basic Gray ink to stamp bird image on scrap of Whisper White card stock; use Big Shot and Petals and More die to cut out bird.  Use tiny amount of Petal Pink refill ink and water-filled Aqua Painter to splash color across bird image.  Adhere bird to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.  Attach self-adhesive silver Metallic Pearls as shown.
