Lemon Zest Card (07/28/2018 Rose Hill Stamp Camp)

Today's card is the one we made at my table this past Saturday at Rose Hill Stamp Camp.  It's a quick and easy Z-fold card.

Thanks to Sylvia Sanchez for this great card design!!! (Visit https://diystampingfun.com/2017/07/live-life-zest/ to see Sylvia's card.)

Instructions
(SNAIL Adhesive used unless otherwise indicated.)

1. Score 11" x 4-1/4" card stock at 5-1/2"; turn to other side and score at 2-3/4".  Fold away from scorelines to create a "Z" fold card base. (See "inside" photo above.)

2. Adhere 4-1/16" x 5-5/16" Granny Apple Green card stock to inside of card; adhere 4-1/16" x 2-9/16" Granny Apple Green card stock to front flap.

3. Use embossing folder and Big Shot to add texture to both pieces of Lemon Lime Twist card stock.  Adhere to Granny Apple Green card stock on inside and front flap.

4. Cut 3-9/16" x 2-1/16" label from Whisper White thick card stock; stamp "LIFE'S SHORT" near upper left corner.

5. To make front label:
* Use piece of Stampin' Sponge (I cut my sponges in 1/4th pieces) to add Lemon Lime Twist ink over entire surface of lemon stamp; use second piece of Stampin' Sponge to apply Granny Apple Green ink around sides and bottom of stamp, creating a dimensional effect.  Stamp on scrap of Whisper White Thick card stock.  Repeat to make second image.  Use Lemon Builder punch to cut both images.  Since we've used Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist to make this fruit, they've magically been transformed into LIMES!!!  Use Glue Dots or Liquid Glue to adhere one lime over the other as shown.
* Punch four leaves from Granny Apple Green card stock and use Glue Dots or Liquid Glue to adhere to back of limes as shown.  Adhere limes and leaves to label as shown.
* Apply Liquid Glue to back of label on left side only and adhere to front flap.  Right side will hang free.  Add Glitter Dots as shown.  Make knot from ribbon and adhere to left side of label with Glue Dots.  (I applied Glue Dots just behind the knot and allowed the tails hang free.)

6. Use Memento Ink to stamp coffee cup image on Vellum card stock; allow to dry completely before cutting out shape with Coffee Cups die.  (This is important because ink will smear if handled too soon.)  Use brush end of Stampin' Write Marker to scribble some limeade into the cup; use Memento Ink to stamp some ice cubes floating in the limeade.  Allow to dry completely before handling.  (NOTE:  It's important to paint the color before stamping the ice cubes, because if the Memento Ink isn't completely dry the ink will smear when painting the limeade.)

7. Cut a 3-5/8" x 3/8" piece of DSP  (or use the straw die); use Liquid Glue to adhere to inside of card as shown.  On the back of the coffee cup draw a thin line of glue around the outer edge behind the stamped image; adhere to inside of card over straw.

8. Use Memento Ink to stamp inside sentiment on scrap of Whisper White card stock; punch out with Everyday Label punch.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere to inside of card.

That's it!  Your totally cute, cool and refreshing card is finished!  I think I'll take a break and have a limeade now!!!
