This card was inspird by a card posted by Chris Smith (see small photo to the right).  To see Chris's card, as well as her many other creations, visit her blog, from my inkpad to yours.

* Pewter Embossing Powder
* Heat Tool
* Stampin' Sponges
* Rhinestone Basic Jewels
* 5/8" Organza Ribbon
* Glue Dot
* SNAIL Adhesive
* Stampin' Dimensionals

Instructions:

1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from scoreline to create card.

2. Use Big Shot and embossing folder to emboss Whisper White card stock; adhere to front of card with SNAIL Adhesive.

3. Stamp image with VersaMark pad; cover image with Pewter Embossing Powder; tap off excess powder and heat with Heat Tool until the image is shiny.  Use Stampin' Sponges to dab all three inks randomly on DSP over embossed image; wipe excess ink from embossed wings with a tissue.  Adhere to 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" Midnight Muse card stock with SNAIL Adhesive.

4. To create a "faux knot" in ribbon:  Start to make a knot about about 1-1/2" from end of ribbon, but before you pull the knot tight, slip a 2" - 2-1/2" piece of ribbon into the knot, then pull it tight.  Adhere knot to front of card with a Glue Dot; wrap ribbon ends to back of card stock and adhere with SNAIL Adhesive.  Adhere card stock to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

5. Attach a self-adhesive Rhinestone to butterfly body as shown.

Yes, this elegant card really is as easy to make as it sounds!  Enjoy!
