Accessories:
* White Baker's Twine

* Crystal Effects
* SNAIL Adhesive
* Stampin' Dimensionals

Instructions:

1. Score 6" x 6" Perfect Plum card stock at 3"; fold away from scoreline to create card.

2. Use Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to paint "for you" rubber stamp (from Tiny Tags); stamp image on scrap of Whisper White card stock, and cut out with Jewelry Tag Punch. Use Paper Piercing Tool and Foam pad from Mat Pack to punch hole in round end of tag.

3. Spray 5-3/4" x 2-3/4" Perfect Plumb card stock with Smooch Spritz; wrap Baker's Twine around left side of card stock 3 times; tie in knot in front. String Jewelry Tag onto Baker's Twint and tie in a bow.

4. Use Stampin' Write Markers to paint color onto stamp (Basic Black for sentiment, colors for hearts); stamp image on 4" x 1-1/2" Whisper White card stock. Adhere to 4-1/4" x 1-3/4" Perfect Plum card stock with SNAIL Adhesive; adhere to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Paint hearts with Crystal Effects and set aside to dry (at least 20 minutes).

Enjoy!

Happy Valentine's Day (3)

This is an award-winning design from Nancy Riley. The only differences in mine are that hers said Happy Valentine's Day and had a fun brad on it where I have the zig zag strip of Lucky Limeade DSP, and I forgot to add a cute little Calypso Coral heart over the Wisteria Wonder heart. To view Nancy's blog, visit iSTAMP by Nancy Riley. Scroll down the page to read about the award Nancy won for this design.

Materials:

Stamp Set:
* Sweetheart

Paper:
* Lucky Limeade card stock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2")
* Calypso Coral card stock (3/4" x 5-1/2")
* Wisteria Wonder card stock (enough for Heart)
* Berry Blossoms DSP (5-1/2" x 7/8" (Multi with Basic Black background); 2-3/4" x 1-1/4" (Calypso Coral); 2-3/4" x 1/2" (Lucky Limeade)
* Whisper White card stock (4-1/4" x 2-3/4")

Ink:
* Jet Black StazOn

Accessories:
* Big Shot Die Cutting Machine
* Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits Die
* Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die
* Scallop Edge Punch
* SNAIL Adhesive
* Tombow Multi-purpose Liquid Glue

Instructions:
(Unless otherwise noted, SNAIL Adhesive used throughout)

1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Lucky Limeade card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from scoreline to create card.

2. Stamp images on Whisper White card stock; adhere to front of card.

3. Cut heart from to Wonder card stock with Big Shot and Embosslits Die. Use Tombow glue to adhere inside stamped heart.

4. Adhere Calypso Coral DSP to front of card below Whisper White card stock; cut zig zag from Lucky Limeade DSP with Big Shot and Tasteful Trim Die; use Tombow glue to adhere to front of card where Whisper White meets Calypso Coral.

5. Trim long edge of Calypso Coral card stock with Scallop Edge Punch; adhere to back of 5-1/2" x 7/8" DSP. Adhere to front of card to the left of Whisper White card stock.

That's it! Pretty easy, huh?!

BTW -- I had an opportunity to meet Nancy Riley at the Regional Conference in Phoenix this past Saturday. What a nice lady!!!

Hope you have fun with her card.

Happy Valentine's Day (2)

This is a card I CASEd (kind of) from somewhere. I usually add the name of the artist when I find a great card, but this time I forgot to do that, and now I can't find it! So to whoever inspired this card -- a big THANKS. The original was actually somewhat different -- had music in the background instead of a printed page; had big black satin bow on it with the heart hanging from the bow -- but I just couldn't get into that bow! It overwhelmed the entire card. So this is my version.

Materials:

Stamp set:
* Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper:
* Basic Black card stock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2"; 4-7/8" x 3-5/8"; scrap for Modern Label Punch)
* Sahara Sand card stock (5-1/4" x 4")
* First Edition DSP (4-4/8" x 3-3/8")
* Real Red card stock (enough for Heart Punch)
* Red Glimmer Paper (enough for Heart Punch)
* Very Vanilla card stock (scrap for Word Window Punch)

Ink:
* Jet Black Staz-On

Accessories:
* Big Shot Die Cutting Machine
* Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder
* Full Heart Punch
* Modern Label Punch
* Word Window Punch
* Rhinestone self-adhesive jewels
* SNAIL Adhesive
* Stampin' Dimensionals
* Tombow Multi-purpose Liquid Glue

Instructions:
(Unless otherwise noted, SNAIL Adhesive used throughout)

1. Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Basic Black card stock at 4-1/4"; fold away from scoreline to create card.

2. Emboss Sahara Sand card stock with Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and Embossing Folder. Adhere to front of card. Adhere 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" card stock over Sahara Sand; adhere DSP over Basic Black card stock.

3. Use Tombow to adhere Glimmer Heart to front of card; adhere Real Red Heart with Stampin' Dimensionals; adhere self-adhesive Rhinestone Jewel to Real Red Heart.

4. Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock; cut out with Word Window Punch. Punch Modern Label from Basic Black card stock. Adhere Word Window to Modern Label; add two small Rhinestone brads, and adhere to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

That's it! A quick and easy valentine for a friend!

Happy Valentine's Day! (1)

Click on the images for a closer view.

This is actually the same card we made in the January classes; but instead of the embossed velvet heart shape, I cut the heart shape out of red glimmer paper to provide a sparkly alternative . . . . See the ingredients and instructions in my January 26 blog entry.

Hope you enjoy these Valentine designs inspire you to come up with your own wonderful creations!
