Lots 'O Bookmarks . . .

My Stampin' Up! 5th Anniversary celebration was a blast! Thanks to all of you who stopped by my open house to help me celebrate!!!

Also thanks to you, much of my retired stash is now depleted. I will be posting a list of remaining retired items within the next couple of weeks, along with prices. So you'll still be able to take advantage of those great prices if there was something you missed . . . or if you weren't able to make it to the party.

We made three bookmarks for make & takes -- TOTALLY easy and fun! Here are the photos, materials lists, and directions:

Magnetic Bookmark

* Stamp Set: Favorite Thoughts@ (116968-w $15.95, 120048-c $11.95; set of 4)
* Paper: Garden Green card stock (8-1/2" x 1-1/2"; 2" x 4" for punch); Crumb Cake card stock (3-1/2" x 1-1/4"); Very Vanilla card stock (3-1/4" x 1"); Woodland Walk Designer Series Paper (DSP)
* Ink: Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pad
* Accessories: Magnet Sheet; 3/4" Circle punch; 1-3/4" Circle punch; SNAIL Adhesive; Sticky Strip; Two-Way Glue Pen

@ - 2010 Summer Mini Catalog

1. Score 8-1/2" x 1-1/2" Garden Green cardstock at 4-1/4". Fold away from scoreline to create bookmark. Punch 2 1-3/4" circles from 2" x 4" Garden Green card stock.
2. Use SNAIL Adhesive to adhere Crumb Cake card stock to front of bookmark about 1/8" from fold. Stamp image on Very Vanilla card stock and adhere over Crumb Cake.
3. Cut flower from DSP and use SNAIL or Two-Way Glue Pen to adhere to one 1-3/4" circle. Use Sticky Strip to adhere circle to right edge of bookmark as shown; line up and adhere second circle to back of bookmark.
4. Punch 2 3/4" circles from Magnet Sheet. Remove backing and adhere to inside of bookmark near open ends. (TIP: Adhere one magnetic circle to inside of bookmark; place second magnet over first magnet with magnetic sides facing each other; remove backing from second magnet and close bookmark. This will insure that the two magnets line up perfectly.)

Corner Bookmark

* Stamps: Favorite Thoughts (see above for ordering info); Take a Sip Stampin' Around Wheel
* Paper: Marina Mist card stock (4" x 4"); Very Vanilla card stock (2-3/4" x 2-3/4"); small scrap of each color for punch
* Ink: Pacific Point Classic Stampin' Pad
* Accessories: Stampin' Around Wheel Handle; Eyelet Border Punch; Boho Blossoms Punch; Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (flower); Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon; Jewels (Basic Pearls); SNAIL Adhesive

1. Mark center point at top and two sides of 4" x 4" card stock. Score from top center point to each side center point; fold away from score lines to create basic bookmark (the two flaps will be in the back). Use Eyelet Border punch to trim bottom edge.
2. Use Stampin' Around Wheel and Pacific Point ink to roll out image above eyelet edging.
3. Cut 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" card stock in half from corner to corner, creating two triangles. Stamp image on one triangle and adhere to front of bookmark. Adhere second triangle to back of bookmark to hold flaps closed.
4. Punch two flowers (one from each color of card stock) and adhere to top corner of bookmark with Mini Glue Dots or SNAIL Adhesive. Adhere Pearl to center of flower (Pearl is self-adhering).
5. Wrap ribbon around bookmark and tie knot in front.
